Reza Ambardi Pradana

Reza Ambardi Pradana is an urban designer at Arup with ten years of professional experience gained in Singapore and the Netherlands. His practice is built around people-centric urbanism, combining urban analysis with digital tools, on-site observation, community engagement, parametric design simulation and multi-scalar design problem solving. He is particularly effective in multidisciplinary settings, where he integrates and manages diverse teams of specialists working on complex projects.

His portfolio ranges from large-scale climate adaptation and green connector programmes in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana to medium-scale master planning across Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and China. As Design Lead he coordinated the MCBD 2050 Vision and Strategic Framework Masterplan in Makati, Manila, an initiative built on pedestrian-friendly superblocks, revitalised public spaces, transit-oriented development and green corridors. He co-led the SM Prime Smart City Masterplan and Urban Design Guidelines for SM Bay City in Manila Bay, where City Information Modelling tools such as ESRI CityEngine, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Urban were applied to make the master planning process more effective and more accessible to the client.

In Singapore he was Masterplan Design Lead for the Kallang Alive 2050 Vision, steering teams across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand towards a car-lite, mixed-use sports and leisure precinct. He also acted as interface and design manager for the Tanah Merah Viaduct and Depot repurposing project, which converts a one kilometre stretch of disused rail viaduct into a green active mobility corridor, and co-led Arup's winning bid for the PUB Northwest Coastal Climate Change Adaptation Measures. In Kuala Lumpur he served as design and digital manager for the Green Connector Network.

Reza earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees with cum laude honours and has won national and international design competitions, working alongside distinguished international design teams.
