About me
I'm an urban strategist with a background in psychology and a deep love for nature. My way of making change is to craft and implement plans to make neighborhoods green, vibrant, and social.
I was raised in Caracas, a tropical dream city that devolved into a dystopia, held together by its people's resilience and an incredibly strong social infrastructure. The experience of my homeland has shaped my professional practice as a sustainability consultant working on ambitious master planning projects and later as a Director at Gehl - a leading planning and urban design studio based in Copenhagen.
To date, I have led placemaking initiatives in 30 cities and 10 countries. My work spans a wide range of contexts, from informal settlements in Latin America to corporate campuses in Silicon Valley.
I'm now starting a private practice focusing on eco-districts and corporate social responsibility for real estate projects in Latin America. I'm also a co-founder of an agro-tourism project in the Paria Peninsula in Venezuela.
Outside work, I'm a mother, an avid cyclist, a student of radical theology, and a music enthusiast.
