About
I completed my undergraduate degree in both Environmental Studies and Urban Design & Architecture at New York University. This double major came about from a longtime love for ecology, systems thinking, and my own lived experience growing up in New York City. I am now pursuing a Master's of Urban Planning at CUNY Hunter College part-time, while I also work full time for the NYC Department of Design and Construction as a Junior Project Manager in Capital Programs. I've previously worked in economic development, capacity building for community nonprofits, energy consulting, horticulture, private construction/contracting, local political campaigning, archival digitization, and more. I've enjoyed aspects from all of these various roles, however I am still figuring out what type of role best fits my working style and interests. In addition to my upbringing in NYC, I have spent a lot of time in northern Greece visiting family! This has absolutely contributed to my interest in international planning practices, and made me open to exploring work outside of NYC/the USA.
