My professional focus is sustainable transport and resilient, inclusive urban systems: the planning, transport and governance arrangements that make cities work for the people who depend on them most.

My areas of specialisation are sustainable transport, urban resilience and inclusive urban development, together with the consulting practice that supports them.

A significant part of my professional interest is directed towards cities in the Global South, and African cities in particular, and towards work that supports them in becoming more resilient, better governed and more inclusive.
