Luiza Raeli M. Penna

I am an urban planning professional from Brazil and a business partner in my own practice, with a strong technical background in land development and spatial analysis.

My work is grounded in the technical side of urbanism: land-use planning, regulatory frameworks, and the spatial analysis that turns data into evidence for planning decisions. As a business partner I combine that technical practice with the management of the projects and professional relationships on which the office is built.

My areas of specialisation are land development, spatial analysis, regulatory and land-use frameworks, and evidence-based urban strategies that can be adapted to different governance contexts.

My professional interests include comparative planning systems across South America, the United States and Europe, and urban projects that combine land-use planning, spatial analysis and socially responsive urban development, developed with public-sector agencies, international consultancies and multidisciplinary urban strategy firms.
