About
I am an architect and urban planner from Brazil, based in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, with thirteen years of experience in the development and management of programmes and projects in urban planning, mobility and architecture. I studied at the École Spéciale d'Architecture (ESA) in Paris.
I currently work at LOGIT, where I have been Principal Consultant since January 2026, after rejoining the firm as Senior Consultant in March 2024. My first period at LOGIT was in 2016 and 2017 in São Paulo, as Senior Analyst and Urban Development Specialist for urban mobility projects.
Between 2017 and 2023 I worked in the municipal government of Juiz de Fora, a city of almost 600,000 inhabitants, in a sequence of planning and housing roles. I began as Manager of the Department for the Articulation and Integration of Sectoral Policies, responsible for social-interest housing and basic sanitation, and from 2019 to 2020 I was Deputy Secretary for Territorial Planning, leading the municipal planning body across land use and occupation, housing and sanitation, and managing the municipal councils and funds for urban policy (COMPUR) and housing (CMH).
From 2021 to 2022 I was Chief Executive Officer of EMCASA, the mixed-economy housing and productive inclusion company that delivers the social housing policy of Juiz de Fora, reporting to the municipality as majority shareholder and to the administrative board. I was then Municipal Secretary for Urban Planning between 2022 and 2023, heading the department responsible for land use and occupation, housing, basic sanitation, research and geoprocessing, and urban projects, reporting directly to the Mayor and leading a team of 25.
My career also includes international projects for International Financial Institutions in Africa, Europe and South America, and collaborations with both the public and the private sector. My areas of specialisation are public policy development, urban strategy, the management of urban programmes and projects, and projects with social impact.
