About
I lead BENN, Berlin’s neighbourhood-integration programme for refugee and migrant communities, after twelve years in urban planning and territorial development across Colombia and Germany and an MSc in Urban Management from TU Berlin. My main challenge now is translating that technical depth into a senior, internationally facing role: I want direct guidance on positioning a Latin America–Europe profile with confidence in English, and clarity on which organisations and markets, particularly in international cooperation and migration-policy work, genuinely value that combination.
Through the programme, I want to strengthen my professional branding and donor-facing communication skills, and sharpen my strategic approach to the international job market, rather than continuing to compete only within one city and one language. My interests sit in migration and social integration, participatory planning, territorial and spatial planning, and monitoring & evaluation for urban development, areas I already work in through BENN and my ongoing consulting on Colombian territorial plans (POT/PBOT/EOT). Therefore, I’d like to move into international cooperation work that needs exactly this bridge: grounded Latin American planning expertise paired with European strategic and reporting practice.
